All of Alberta’s Good Earth Cafés are bullfrogpowered™
Leading Alberta coffeehouse and bakery expands its support for green power by signing on 10 additional locations
Calgary, April 9, 2008 — Calgary-based Good Earth Coffeehouse and Bakery today announced that it has agreed to purchase clean, renewable power for all 13 of its Alberta cafés from Bullfrog Power™, a leading Canadian provider of 100 per cent green electricity. Good Earth will reduce its environmental footprint by over 500 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Under the agreement, Bullfrog will provide green power to Good Earth’s 11 Calgary cafés, as well as its Red Deer and Edmonton locations.

Providing green power for Good Earth’s locations will not require any special equipment or wiring. Bullfrog Power will simply inject clean, emissions-free EcoLogoM-certified electricity into the provincial electricity grid to match the amount of power used by the cafés, just as it does for thousands of homes and hundreds of organizations in Alberta and Ontario. In Alberta, Bullfrog sources its 100 per cent made-in-Alberta wind power from wind farms in Southern Alberta.
