2008 Juno Awards Weekend Events
are bullfrogpowered™

Bullfrog Power partners with CARAS to lower the emissions footprint
of 2008 Juno Awards Weekend Events with green power

Calgary, March 25, 2008 — Bullfrog Power™, a leading Canadian provider of 100 per cent green electricity, today announced that it has partnered with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) as a community sponsor of the 2008 Juno Awards Weekend Events, which will take place at various venues in Calgary from April 4 to April 6. Under the agreement, Bullfrog will provide clean, renewable power to reduce the emissions footprint of the three nights of weekend activities and performances associated with the 2008 JUNO Awards.

Going green is an important move according to Chris Topping, Manager, Public Events for the JUNO Awards. “We share the public’s concern about the environment,” said Topping. “Partnering with Bullfrog Power on our local weekend events allows Canada’s premier awards ceremony to reduce its emissions footprint while celebrating the country’s best music.”

“I'd like to thank CARAS for choosing to work with Bullfrog Power to lower the electricity-related emissions footprint of the 2008 Juno Awards Events,” said Theresa Howland, Vice President, Western Region, Bullfrog Power. “Alberta's music community has always been at the forefront of environmentally friendly initiatives. The decision of CARAS to green the Juno Awards Events with green power follows in that tradition. For Bullfrog Power, it's an excellent opportunity to raise awareness among Albertans about their option to purchase green power for their homes or businesses.”

Providing green power for this event will not require any special equipment or wiring. Bullfrog Power will simply inject clean, emissions-free EcoLogoM-certified electricity onto the Alberta Electricity grid to match the amount of power used by the events, just as it does for thousands of homes and hundreds of organizations in Alberta and Ontario. In Alberta, Bullfrog sources its 100 per cent made-in-Alberta wind power from wind farms in Southern Alberta. The following 2008 Juno Awards Weekend events will be bullfrogpowered:
