Tom Heintzman brings a distinguished record of service to environmental causes along with proven executive leadership experience to his role as president of Bullfrog Power Inc. Prior to co-founding Bullfrog Power with Greg Kiessling in 2004, Tom spent more than 13 years in the private and NGO sectors, most recently with Zenon Environmental where he led their global M&A initiatives as director of corporate development. Earlier in his career, as Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, Tom provided consulting services to many of the world's largest corporations in the energy, manufacturing, financial services and telecommunications sectors. From 1996 to 1998, Tom was instrumental in establishing the Sierra Legal Defence Fund's Ontario office, where he led several precedent-setting litigation, public advocacy and lobbying campaigns associated with the environmental consequences of the oil refining, mining, forestry, fishing and automobile industries. Tom began his career practicing law with Goodmans, a leading Canadian law firm.

Tom has volunteered with a number of children's health and environmental organizations. For more than a decade, Tom was an active member of the Camp Oochigeas community, a children's cancer camp in Ontario. He served on the board of the Sierra Legal Defence Fund from 1999 through 2004, and provided pro-bono consulting services to the Nature Conservancy of Canada during his tenure at McKinsey.

Greg Kiessling spent 18 years in the private sector, where he gained significant experience leading high-growth, entrepreneurial organizations. Greg was co-founder, chairman and CEO of Sitraka, which became Canada's largest self-financed software company. Sitraka was recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies six times and was also named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. Greg is the founder of Up Capital, a private investment firm that provides financial and advisory support to businesses including Bullfrog Power that are committed to a double bottom line. Greg is currently an advisor to Investeco Capital and Wellington Financial, and serves on the board of Quickplay Media.

Greg serves on the board of the ground-breaking Regent Park Community Health Centre's Pathways to Education program. Greg also serves on the advisory board of the Trudeau Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Toronto and is a founding member of Emagine.

Theresa Howland

As Vice President, Western Region, Theresa Howland is responsible for leading Bullfrog Power’s operations in Western Canada. Theresa has held progressively more senior positions in marketing and product development since joining the deregulated electricity industry in 1996. Prior to joining Bullfrog Power, Theresa oversaw business development activities for leading wind power developer, Vision Quest Windelectric, an independently operated division of TransAlta. From 2004 to 2005, Theresa served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Wind Energy Association, and from 2002 to 2006, served as a Director. In this capacity, Theresa led and participated in cross-functional industry teams to develop strategies and policy recommendations to support wind energy growth in Canada. Earlier in her career, Theresa spearheaded a successful green power program for a major utility. Theresa received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
